When Alex is not running the marketing department for Radio Times Travel he's searching for gorillas in Uganda, diving with sharks in Australia and launching himself off bungee jumping platforms. He's passionate about sending other people on great adventures too. Sitting on the board of non-profit organisation Great Aves, he helps offer affordable gap year placements and volunteer opportunities abroad.
Our Head of Travel has explored shipwrecks in the deep waters of Egypt, danced on the highest building in San Francisco, wandered the Himalayas and swam with sharks in Belize. Sharon has worked in publishing for over 20 years, the last seven of which have been managing travel reader offers. During this time she has built up a wealth of contacts within the publishing and travel industries.
Spending six years in China and the Middle East, our Travel Editor Jade has slept in tents with nomads in Tibet, eaten chicken anus in Shanghai and surfed in more than 50 countries.
